Job Description

Assistant Maintenance-Part-Time ONLY. 8 hours per week split between Saturday and Sunday

Holiday Inn Express NephI takes pride in the overall condition and upkeep of our hotel and is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented individual to join our Maintenance team as a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for managing daily maintenance needs, carrying out a preventative maintenance program, and helping with hotel renovations and other projects. You will also be expected to maintain good working relationships with outside contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily maintenance needs to ensure the right team is always on the right task
  • Carry out a preventative maintenance program to create a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for our guests
  • Help with hotel renovations and other projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget
  • Maintain good working relationships with outside contractors

Requirements:

  • An attitude of ownership and pride in the hotel
  • Above and Beyond Guest Service
  • Hotel experience preferred but not necessary, as long as there is a yearning to learn
  • Ability to clearly communicate and navigate maintenance app
