This position involves a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency of manufacturing equipment within a well-established organization. The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the performance of various machinery to uphold the high-quality standards of production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on diverse manufacturing equipment to guarantee reliability and efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to PLCs, Drives, VFDs, mechanical systems, and industrial hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Identify machine failures and propose solutions to enhance operational performance.
- Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs, maintaining thorough records of all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement enhancements to equipment and operational processes.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests and fulfill scheduled maintenance tasks as required.
- Assist in training less experienced technicians and operators on equipment maintenance and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven experience with PLCs, Drives, VFDs, mechanical systems, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret equipment manuals and work orders for effective maintenance execution.
- Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the capability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
- Demonstrated reliability and accountability in previous roles.
- Completion of a relevant technical or vocational training program is advantageous.
- Certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems is a plus.
