**Genesis10 Seeks a Senior Java SDET for Hybrid Remote Position**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java/J2EE Application Automation Developer to join our team focused on building mission-critical applications for the Financial Services industry.

This role is ideal for a seasoned developer with a strong background in Java/J2EE and a passion for test automation and quality engineering. You will be an integral part of a scrum team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing frameworks and test cases for the Fedwire payment applications, including Securities, Funds, NSS, and Settlement systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to contribute to the detailed technical design of applications.
  • Develop and test application functions and components in Java on server platforms, integrating with middleware messaging and RDB backend frameworks.
  • Support automated testing strategy and work with the team lead and architects to implement automated testing tools and scripts.
  • Design and implement test strategies for complex, mission-critical systems, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across products and teams.
  • Interpret complex business requirements, collaborate with quality engineers, and develop technical test cases that thoroughly validate the tech stack and product functionality.
  • Drive Agile adoption within the team, optimizing quality practices to reduce testing cycle times for mission-critical applications.
  • Continuously promote quality engineering best practices, and innovative test automation techniques, and maintain product development quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10 years in Java/J2EE application development, with at least 7 years of expertise in JAVA, J2EE, JavaScript, JDBC, and HTML.
  • Framework Knowledge: 3-5 years of experience with the Spring framework, including Spring Integration and Spring Batch, with a solid understanding of AOP concepts.
  • Strong analytical and design capabilities, including requirements analysis and object-oriented design patterns.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with open-source frameworks and Jenkins/Selenium Grid for continuous testing.
  • Solid comprehension of BDD, TDD, enterprise-wide quality standards, and dynamic test environment setup.

Compensation:** Hourly W2 pay rate $50-$60. We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
