Position Overview:
As a Pet Stylist, you will provide top-notch grooming services to our clients' beloved pets. Your skills and attention to detail will ensure that each pet leaves looking and feeling their best.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver grooming services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, bathing, brushing, haircuts, and styling, in accordance with breed standards and client preferences.
- Safely operate grooming tools and equipment, ensuring a clean and efficient workspace.
- Adhere to Petco's grooming policies and standards to maintain quality and consistency.
- Monitor pets for signs of discomfort or health issues, and communicate any concerns to pet owners and management.
- Tailor grooming services to meet the unique needs of each pet, considering their coat type, skin condition, and temperament.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with pet owners, offering grooming advice, and addressing inquiries.
- Educate pet owners on grooming maintenance and at-home care practices to promote their pets' well-being.
- Collaborate with fellow groomers and team members to foster a supportive work environment.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in professional pet grooming with a strong portfolio.
- In-depth knowledge of various dog breeds and their grooming needs.
- Proficiency in breed-specific grooming techniques and standards.
- Familiarity with grooming tools and safe handling practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming services.
- Physical stamina to perform grooming tasks and handle pets of various sizes.
- Compassion and patience in handling animals, ensuring their comfort and safety.
