Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in Connecticut

We are seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine physician to join our team at a non-profit regional Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in eastern Connecticut. This is a full-time, permanent opening with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide a full range of primary care services, including physical exams, therapeutic and surgical procedures, patient education, and continuity of care.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations, compile patient medical data, and order, perform, and interpret screening, diagnostic procedures, and tests.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
- Develop and implement patient management plans and assist in provision of continuity of care.
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
- Provide coverage to patients admitted to local hospitals and participate in agency quality assurance and improvement efforts.
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Documented completion of a residency from an accredited institution in an appropriate specialty.
- Board certification.
- Current licensure in the state of Connecticut.
