Job Summary

NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking a qualified Theatre Instructor to join our faculty team. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching Theatre courses, including Intro to Theatre and Playwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Theatre courses, including lectures, discussions, and performances
• Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
• Assess student learning and provide feedback
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of Theatre programs

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Theatre or related field
• Experience in teaching Theatre courses
• Knowledge of theatre techniques and practices
• Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff

Working Conditions

The Theatre Instructor will work in a fast-paced academic environment, with frequent interactions with students, faculty, and staff. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation

The rate of pay for this position is $765 per workload hour.
