DriveTime Family of Brands is seeking a highly skilled Impound Specialist to join our team. As an Impound Specialist, you will play a critical role in the vehicle recovery process, ensuring that our customers' assets are recovered efficiently and effectively.

• Negotiate with impound facilities to secure vehicles and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Make informed decisions regarding the condition, fees, and profitability of vehicles to determine whether to pick up or abandon them.
• Conduct thorough investigations to gather necessary information from impound facilities.
• Complete legally required impound packets to secure vehicles from impound yards.
• Document all relevant information about vehicle locations, reasons for impound, and total fees due.
• Assign collateral for recovery, utilizing approved vendors and ensuring customer accounts are accurately documented.
• Collaborate with recovery agents and impound facilities to resolve issues with vehicle recovery attempts.
• Document and route accounts to abandon queues if vehicles are determined not to be worth repossession.
• Conduct follow-up conversations with impound facilities to confirm vehicle locations and renegotiate fees.
• Assist other departments with inquiries related to the impound process.
• Complete tasks on assigned accounts in a timely manner.
• Ensure impound notices are properly notated in the system.
• Route all impounded accounts to proper collection queues.
• Utilize approved databases, tools, and internet searches to confirm vehicle impound status.
• Assist Impound Coordinators with the input and tracking of impound notices.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be comfortable working on-site and have availability Monday-Friday.
