Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate all kitchen stations effectively.
  • Manage your assigned station during shifts, adhering to specifications and restocking as necessary.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Prepare soups, stocks, and sauces; execute boiling, braising, and roasting according to standardized recipes.
  • Cook and serve sautéed, fried, grilled, steamed, and baked dishes as per established guidelines.
  • Oversee the preparation of all meals, following standard recipes and accommodating special dietary needs.

Plan food production to align with meal service times, ensuring the excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of dishes are upheld.

Assess the quantity and type of food and supplies needed for daily menus, ensuring timely procurement from storage areas for meal preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: SERVSafe Certification.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and comprehend measurements and conversions.
  • A minimum of three years of culinary experience in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar establishment.
  • Capability to organize and plan work, interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance, along with basic knowledge of nutrition and dietary considerations.

Compensation: Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
