Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled BC Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our Rutherford, NJ location. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing the bio/psycho/social/spiritual health status of individual clients and families through history taking, data collection, and physical exam. You will also assist staff nurses to facilitate care for walk-in patients, complete accurate documentation according to site specific standards, and participate in annual update of joint practice protocols as per NJ Board of Nursing guidelines. Additionally, you will prescribe or make judgments regarding pharmacologic agents and therapeutic devices, educate patients on pharmacological agents, therapeutic devices, laboratory or diagnostic testing, refer patients for specialty care as per program standards, protocol, or physician consultation, and follow up on referrals according to site specific standards.
Requirements:
Unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner from the State Board of Nurses for New Jersey. Employee shall maintain registration including prescriptive authorization with the New Jersey Board of medical Examiners. Maintain Active CPR.
