About the Opportunity

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for tunnel design and construction?

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our geotechnical engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing tunnel construction projects for various clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with a focus on geotechnical engineering and tunnel design. You will work closely with our team of engineers and project managers to develop innovative solutions to complex tunneling challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze tunnel construction projects using advanced software tools such as Plaxis 2D/3D and FLAC/FLAC3D.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
  • Analyze geotechnical data and develop recommendations for ground support systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet their needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tunnel design and construction.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and tunnel design software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
