Role Overview:As an Industrial Mechanic at Nucor Harris Rebar, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, repair, and reassembly of machinery within a collaborative team setting. We seek individuals with over 5 years of relevant experience who can effectively identify and resolve issues in the production line, enhancing operational reliability through practical solutions. This position demands a hands-on approach to problem-solving, a solid technical foundation, and strong analytical skills.
- Provide technical assistance for maintenance and operational tasks
- Design and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Develop and resolve issues related to hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Manage capital projects and assist in establishing preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Conduct failure analysis and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational reliability
- Willingness to work in an industrial environment focused on production solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred
