Job Summary

The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing raw materials and finished goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company safety protocols, and ensuring accurate inventory levels. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of raw materials and finished goods
• Store and organize inventory in a designated area of the warehouse
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits
• Assist in the preparation of raw materials for sampling and production
• Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred
• Ability to read and write basic English, basic math skills, and basic computer skills
• Current certification for a forklift or pallet jack
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment

The Material Handler will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a team of production and logistics professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess excellent communication skills. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
