Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at HexaQuEST Global - Healthcare. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support to our patients in a hospital, clinic, or long-term care facility setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with toileting, including positioning bedpans and escorting patients to the commode or urinals.
  • Help patients with oral hygiene, including brushing teeth and caring for dentures.
  • Measure and record patient intake and output, including fluids and medications.
  • Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis, including stool, urine, and sputum.
  • Take vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Document patient care and observations in the patient's chart.
  • Position, lift, and transfer patients safely and efficiently.
  • Participate in recreational activities and groups to promote patient engagement and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of employment.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment safely.
