The Goddard School - Simpsonville is seeking an experienced Infant Teacher to lead a class of students through a successful school year.

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified candidate to create and implement a comprehensive educational curriculum that meets school standards. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and plan a classroom curriculum aligned with school standards and expectations.
  • Encourage the development of students' critical thinking skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prepare all necessary learning materials, including lesson plans and educational resources.
  • Assign homework and monitor students' progress.
  • Take attendance and maintain accurate records.
  • Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Document students' learning progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment.
  • Report and document behavioral incidents in accordance with school policies.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is required, but an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Prior experience teaching at the k-12 level is highly valued.
  • An understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management is essential.
  • A knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to adhere to them closely is necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
