Position Overview:
VVS Canteen is in search of a dedicated and customer-oriented Food Service Supervisor to manage the operations of the employee cafeteria. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless dining experience for all staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of 15-20 staff members, including responsibilities for hiring, training, performance management, and terminations.
  • Implement weekly menus and adhere to established recipes to ensure quality service.
  • Ensure compliance with all Food Safety Regulations.
  • Manage operational tasks such as procurement, inventory oversight, and employee scheduling.
  • Perform additional duties related to the effective functioning of a commercial kitchen.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Institutional Food Service Management or Restaurant Management.
  • A strong work history with relevant references.
  • The physical ability to lift weights ranging from 25-35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
