Director of Labor and Delivery Opportunity

ColumbiaDoctors, in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group, is seeking an experienced board-certified OB/GYN physician to lead the Labor and Delivery service at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester in Bronxville, New York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the NYPW OB/GYN Division Senior leadership team to advance women's health
  • Lead the successful operations and quality of Labor and Delivery service
  • Oversee the administrative aspects of the OB Hospitalist Program
  • Work with OBGYN physicians and advanced practice providers to implement quality initiatives and evidence-based best practices
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to promote patient safety and efficiency of Labor and Delivery services

NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester provides access to primary care physicians and specialists from ColumbiaDoctors, the faculty practice of Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester. Our 288-bed facility offers a range of services, including a cancer center, maternity center, breast health center, and a NYS-designated Stroke Center. The hospital delivers nearly 2,000 babies each year and provides emergency care to approximately 35,000 individuals annually.

The selected candidate will have an academic appointment at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, and be eligible for all of the Columbia University benefits available for the faculty appointment.

Compensation Information:
$280,000 - $360,000 annually
