Job Summary

The Boyd Group is seeking a skilled Automotive ADAS Technician to join our team. As an Automotive ADAS Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing, programming, and analysis of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Testing and Analysis: Determine testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and review all estimates for repair.
  • ADAS Calibration and Programming: Perform diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations, and analysis.
  • Wiring Repairs: Perform wiring repairs as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Keep inventory of stock, communicate with support staff for needed orders, and verify order receipts.
  • Service Invoicing: Write, print, and email service invoices.
  • Customer Interaction: Collect signature or payment for work performed and deliver completed invoices and payments to the office in an orderly manner.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies, perform preventative maintenance, and advise management of repairs.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule and complete jobs.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of OE Scan Tools: Possess knowledge of original equipment (OE) scan tools.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Possess diagnostic skills in the automotive trade.
  • Wiring Repair Procedures: Possess knowledge of wiring repair procedures.
  • A/C System Service: Ability to service A/C systems.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge: Possess basic computer knowledge, including using email, spreadsheet, and messaging systems.
  • Continuous Learning: Willing and able to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, and the like.
  • Education and Experience: Must possess a high school degree or GED equivalent and 4-10 years of related service technician experience.
