Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Lab Manager to join our team at ICONMA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the EP Labs, as well as the supervision of staff assigned to the EP Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the EP Team, ensuring the effective operational flow of EP services.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards and competencies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with Electrophysiologists, Anesthesia providers, EP vendors, Schedulers, Nursing Clinical Supervisors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Operational Management: Manage operational supplies, inventory, new products, and medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budgetary expenditures, ensuring compliance with the annual operational budget, and provide explanations for any deviations.
  • Patient Care and Billing: Ensure proper patient charges and billing, adhering to current CMS/HSCRC coding and billing guidelines, and work with the Finance Department to capture all revenue and rebates.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in the Value Analysis Committee and contribute to the development of guidelines, protocols, and policies that meet Heart Rhythm Society practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Advanced clinical certification or willingness to complete within two years of employment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members.
