We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at South Arkansas Regional Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and document patient information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-based policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- One year of experience in direct patient care, preferably in a critical care setting.
- Current unencumbered licensure to practice as an RN in the State of Arkansas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required (may be obtained within 3 months of hire).
