  • Merchandise Handling: Ensure proper handling of merchandise according to guidelines, including receiving, stocking, and rotating products.
  • Unloading Trucks: Assist in unloading trucks and receiving merchandise in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilization of Company Tools: Effectively utilize company tools and technology to manage inventory, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, report and address any unsafe conditions, and comply with regulations and company policies.
  • Training and Development: Complete required training courses and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform assigned tasks as needed to support the produce department and achieve sales goals.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to learn and adapt to job requirements, solve problems using technical knowledge, and meet physical job requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Communication: Ability to use necessary communication systems, including radios and phones.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lift and carry products as needed, up to 50 pounds.
  • Standing and Walking: Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Temperature Conditions: Work in various temperature conditions, including refrigerated and freezer areas.
  • Volume Activity: Meet volume activity standards, including fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Product Handling: Handle a variety of products and materials, including produce, meat, dairy, and bakery items.
