Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures and related techniques to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures, including positioning patients and selecting appropriate radiographic techniques.
  • Obtain patient history, explain procedures to patients, and obtain consent for examinations.
  • Scan documentation into PACS and verify performed procedures have been received.
  • Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients and others.
  • Monitor equipment performance and notify supervisors of malfunctions.
  • Maintain exam rooms in a clean and orderly fashion and ensure rooms are stocked with supplies.
  • Participate in quality improvement and maintain safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensed with the A.R.R.T. in Radiography.
  • Current registration with the Texas Department of Health, Bureau of Radiation Control, Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.) program.
  • Valid healthcare provider CPR card.
