Job Summary

FP Steel Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled Welding Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our steel fabrication process.

Responsibilities

* Conduct dimensional and final weld inspections to shop drawings
* Develop and maintain quality control standards and objectives
* Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel
* Provide and oversee inspection activity throughout the production cycle
* Communicate performance-related issues to the Shop Foreman

Requirements

* Current AWS CWI certification
* Prefer ASNT and MT level 2 experience
* Experience inspecting to AWS D1.1, D1.5
* Knowledge of blueprints and steel shop fabrication
* Experience with developing and documenting procedures
