Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized guidance.
  • Prepare and complete accurate tax-related forms for clients, including multiyear, multistate, and year-end tax forms.
  • Provide clients with IRS audit support and answer tax-related questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate business growth and increase client retention by offering additional products and services.
  • Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration, and mentor and support teammates as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ seasons of previous tax experience, with a strong understanding of individual, trust, and partnership tax returns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
  • Successful completion of the Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with certifications such as Field Instructor, Remote Support, or Call Center certification a plus.
