Job Summary:

Provider Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated dentist to join our team at East Hill Medical Center in Auburn, NY. As a full-time or part-time dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Federally Qualified Health Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and Treat Oral and Dental Conditions: Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose and treat a range of oral and dental conditions, including routine care and emergency situations.
  • Provide Routine Care: Administer medication, perform periodontal therapy, take x-rays, and conduct follow-up maintenance checks to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Manage Emergencies: Respond to acute hemorrhages, anaphylaxis, respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, and seizures in a timely and effective manner.
  • Diagnose and Treat Illnesses and Diseases: Identify and treat illnesses and diseases that present in the office, including restorative procedures, non-surgical extractions, pulpotomy, dentures, and incision and drainage.
  • Consult with Specialists: Collaborate with specialists to ensure the best possible care for patients, as needed.
  • Document Patient Care: Accurately document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to peer review and other quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Protect patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Requirements:
    • Certifications: Current unrestricted NYS Dental License, CPR Certification, and Infection Control Certificate.
    • Skills: Organized with great attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to provide quality customer service, and experience with Dentrix and Medent (preferred).
    • Work Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Compensation: $180,000.00 per year for full-time.
