Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

- Perform a variety of radiographic procedures to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
- Position patients accurately and select technical parameters to achieve high-quality images.
- Implement radiation safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, and help position patients for imaging.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and submit high-quality images and documents to PACS.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
Requirements:
Licensure/Certification:
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Radiologic Technologist specialization in Radiography and Computed Tomography credentialed from the ARRT required.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree required.
