Director of Quality Assurance

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Quality Assurance to lead our team in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and ownership of our Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality management strategies to meet customer requirements and business needs
  • Lead a small team of quality professionals in achieving quality objectives and improving processes
  • Drive product and process improvement initiatives to enhance KPIs and reduce defects
  • Own and manage quality and environmental regulatory, third-party, and internal audits and certifications (AS9100, FAA, EASA)
  • Collaborate with indirect functions to remediate internal and external quality issues
Requirements:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 8-10 years of experience in Quality Management, with 5 recent years in the DoD or Aerospace industry
  • 5 years of Quality Management Systems experience with AS9100/ISO9001, RCCA, APQP, Six Sigma
  • Proficient in interpreting technical documents
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
