Position Summary:
Atwell, LLC is in search of an experienced Electrical Project Engineer specializing in the Renewable Energy and Utility sectors. This role involves supporting Developers, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Utilities, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms, as well as Owners/Operators of Power Delivery, Wind, Solar, and Energy Storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engineering design and review for the electrical components of Power Delivery in Renewable Wind and Photovoltaic (PV) projects, with capacities ranging from 100KW to 1,000MW, and Battery Storage systems from 5MWh to over 1,000MWh.
- Develop SCADA configurations and provide on-site support, overseeing the construction and commissioning of facilities, focusing on design elements crucial for the long-term operation and maintenance of the facility.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) or PEng License is mandatory.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Renewable Energy or Utility projects.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring team members.
- Strong understanding of utility-scale engineering principles related to transmission and distribution.

Daily Activities:
- Lead and guide the detailed design of medium to high voltage utility substations, including one-line diagrams, elementary and wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, conduit and cable sizing/routing, substation physical layouts, equipment selection, specification writing, proposal development, construction cost estimation, and project scheduling.
- Ensure adherence to Atwell's quality procedures.
- Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for client deliverables.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Supervise electrical design projects for utility-scale Wind, Solar PV, and Battery Storage systems.
- Utilize engineering software tools such as PSCAD, PVSyst, and/or PVCase for power systems analysis.
- Design and oversee electrical infrastructure for renewable energy facilities, focusing on innovative power sources.
- Support renewable energy proposals and fulfill electrical engineering roles related to power markets.
