Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Construction Manager, you will oversee all aspects of utility construction for diverse telecom projects. You will lead a team of construction experts to ensure high-quality output in a safety-oriented setting. Your commitment to excellence will drive our success.

Specifically, you will:

  • Provide exceptional customer service when addressing escalated issues.
  • Guide multiple crews and coordinate their job site activities.
  • Evaluate project schedules against deadlines.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Organize crew schedules, delegate tasks, and supervise work performance and quality.
  • Participate in the hiring process and manage all employment-related documentation.
  • Foster a safe working environment by holding crews accountable for safety practices.
  • Prepare and interpret technical documents, including drawings, blueprints, and contracts, addressing any issues prior to and during construction.
  • Oversee subcontractors, ensuring they perform their tasks effectively and inspect relevant personnel.
  • Take responsibility for all personnel and equipment under your supervision.
  • Engage in meetings with senior management, peers, and clients.
  • Contribute to project estimating, bidding, contract negotiations, and change order preparations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Construction Management.
  • You possess 3-5 years of experience managing telecom construction projects.
  • You are knowledgeable about the telecom construction industry, including Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, and Directional Drilling.
  • You enjoy troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise on-site.
  • You have prior site management experience while maintaining positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Project, and can adapt to custom software.
