Job Responsibilities:
The Linen Services Associate is responsible for ensuring that all linens for various departments, including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Golf, are thoroughly cleaned and properly managed.
Key Duties:
1. Operate pressing and ironing equipment.
2. Fold linens according to established standards.
3. Process linens through the reclaim system as necessary.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laundry area.
Department-Specific Functions:
Cross-train in roles such as Houseperson and Turndown services.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Respond to reasonable requests from supervisors or management.
2. Assist in other departments as required.
3. Participate in monthly departmental meetings.
Equipment Used:
- Cleaning tools such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and dust cloths.
- Various cleaning agents as per safety guidelines.
- Housekeeping carts and communication devices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
- A neat and friendly demeanor is essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills.
- Capability to read and understand basic instructions.
