Job Overview

OBJECTIVE: As a key representative of Liberty Awnings and Shades, you will be the final point of contact for homeowners, ensuring a positive and lasting impression of our products and services. Your professionalism and expertise during installations are crucial in fostering customer satisfaction and referrals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and follow the daily installation schedule provided by the installation coordinator.
  • Maintain communication with customers throughout the installation process and coordinate rescheduling as necessary.
  • Efficiently install products in accordance with company standards.
  • Provide thorough demonstrations of each product post-installation to ensure customer understanding and satisfaction.
  • Review all orders and documentation to clarify any special instructions or requirements.
  • Ensure that the installation vehicle is well-maintained and ready for daily use, reporting any maintenance needs to the Installation Manager.
  • Load all necessary products and materials onto the vehicle prior to each job.
  • Make minor adjustments to products as needed during installation.
  • Engage in factory manufacturing and fabrication tasks as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Installers primarily work outdoors, regardless of seasonal weather conditions.
  • Occasional indoor installations may be required.
  • Work will not proceed under unsafe weather conditions as determined by management.
  • Travel is limited to the greater Phoenix Metro area using company vehicles.
  • Noise levels on job sites are manageable and not excessive.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Thorough understanding and safe operation of tools necessary for installation tasks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all products offered by Liberty Awnings and Shades.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and measurements accurately.
  • Possess a clean driving record and demonstrate safe driving practices.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers.
  • Demonstrate effective time management abilities.
  • Be a collaborative team player while also capable of working independently.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination, including vision testing.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Capability to bend and work at various heights, including above head and ground level.
  • Comfortable using ladders up to 18 feet high.
  • Dexterous use of both hands and proficiency with hand and power tools.
