Network Systems Specialist

LHH Technology is seeking a skilled Systems & Network Engineer to support and maintain our existing IT environment. This role focuses on system administration and network management tasks, ensuring the stability of our network and user environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Manage and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Azure Cloud environments, particularly in migrating to Entra ID.
- Network Administration: Support the transition from Ubiquiti to Fortinet; experience with Fortinet, Juniper, or Aruba is highly desirable. Some knowledge of Cisco networks is helpful, but this is not a Cisco-heavy role.
- Tech Environment Support: Assist with managing a 70/30 split between Windows and Mac users, ensuring smooth system functionality.
- Backup Leadership: Serve as second-in-command when the IT Director is unavailable, with no formal leadership experience required.
- User Support: Provide support to a user population of 75 employees, ensuring the IT environment remains functional and responsive to user needs.
Technical Environment:
- Networking: Basic knowledge of switches, routers, and firewalls (Fortinet) is necessary.
- Software: Support system software such as Windows and Mac devices, storage management, video conferencing, and VoIP systems.
- External Support: Collaborate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) assisting in backend support.
Ideal Candidate Traits:
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Entertainment or enterprise industry experience preferred.
- A focus on quality work and a mindset of doing things the right way.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in system and network maintenance.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, AD, DNS, and Office 365.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud compute environments.
Work Environment:
- Onsite Requirement: 4 days onsite in Century City with travel once a week to Boyle Heights (Chinatown area).

Pay Range: $115,000 - $129,000 + Fully Covered Benefits
