About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient condition during admission to the ER and during their stay in the ER, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
Responsibilities
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
- Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of emergency room patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- One year acute care Hospital ER RN experience
