About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Great Wolf Resorts. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing a wide range of beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving Guests: Serve customers a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, cocktails, and juices.
  • Preparing Drinks: Prepare garnishes and mixes drinks for guests according to recipes and ensure that all drinks are presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Assessing Customer Needs: Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Maintaining the Bar Area: Maintain the attractive and orderly appearance of the bar area through the arrangement of bottles and glassware and ensure that the area adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and take appropriate action to re-stock as necessary, including ordering and requisitioning supplies.
  • Enhancing Skills: Enhance your skillset and knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Cash Handling: Perform cash-handling functions, including operating the point-of-sale system and managing daily reporting.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Scheduling Flexibility: Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands.
  • Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen: Must successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bartending Experience: Previous bartending training and/or experience, with demonstrated knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Sanitation Knowledge: Understanding of sanitation-related issues and knowledge of precautions necessary to ensure a clean beverage preparation environment.

Physical Requirements
