Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Repair Professional to join our team at Dysart Unified School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems, electrical systems, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate records.
  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns, and perform assembly, disassembly, and adjustments on various equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Perform mechanical maintenance on equipment and replace defective or worn-out parts.
  • Clean and drain clogged sewer lines.
  • Perform maintenance work on doors, windows, and other building items.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, and community members.
  • Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Working knowledge and experience in carpentry, electric, and general building maintenance preferred.
Working Conditions

The work environment is moderate to noisy. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
