At Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity ReStore, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Truck Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving our vehicles to pick up donated goods and materials, assisting in the warehouse, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity ReStore vehicles to pick up donated goods and materials.
- Assist in the warehouse with receiving, stocking, and processing donations.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to customers and donors.
- Assist with cashiering at the register and with store floor sales as needed.
- Participate in the home-building mission of Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity.
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Must possess a Class C driver's license with a clear driving record.
- Must be able to pass a required drug test.
- Must be certified to operate a forklift or willing to train to be certified.
- Able to stand, squat, bend, and climb in and out of a truck multiple times a day.
- Able to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds with proper tools.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk on cement floors for up to four hours uninterrupted in a crowded retail facility.
- Adhere to occupational safety guidelines and COVID-19 safety guidelines.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, working with diverse individuals and groups.
- Eleven paid holidays per year.
- One paid sick day per month.
- 80 hours of paid vacation.
- Participation in Kaiser Health Plan.
