Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure Packsize equipment solutions at customer sites, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency services to ensure equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Software, and Quality Engineering, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on customer operational processes, packaging designs, and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in equipment installation, maintenance, and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows platforms and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Environment and Physical Demands

The Resident Service Engineer will work in a production facility, warehouse, or manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to machinery, equipment, and packaging materials. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and work in a variety of temperatures and environments.

Salary and Benefits

Packsize offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
