Location: California

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6 PM - 6 AM

Mandatory Meetings: Attendance required for team meetings on Mondays or Wednesdays from 10 AM - 12 PM.

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic nurse to provide essential care at our adolescent treatment centers. The ideal candidate will oversee patient care and collaborate with the clinical team to enhance and maintain individual treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage in interdisciplinary team discussions and staff meetings.
  2. Compile and present infection control reports.
  3. Guide staff on patient care protocols.
  4. Execute physician directives efficiently.
  5. Review and assess medical records of group home residents.
  6. Consult with supervisors regarding patient health concerns.
  7. Develop and enforce policies and procedures.
  8. Organize and oversee medical evaluations.
  9. Secure parental consent for medical procedures.
  10. Educate and supervise medication administration processes.
  11. Conduct annual tuberculosis screenings for patients.

Qualifications:

  1. Valid LVN/LPT license in California.
  2. Current driver's license.
  3. At least one year of nursing experience, preferably with adolescents facing psychological or substance-related challenges.
  4. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  5. Passion for working with teenagers.
  6. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
  7. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Compensation: $33 per hour with opportunities for advancement.

Benefits: Available for full-time positions (3 or more shifts per week).
