Mill Electrical Technician Assistant

EVRAZ North America is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Pueblo, Colorado plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing electrical, electronic, and combustion-instrumentation maintenance to all areas of the mill in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electrical, electronic, and combustion-instrumentation maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the mill.
- Troubleshoot, repair, dismantle, assemble, and install a variety of equipment throughout the mill.
- Work with Electric Shop, Combustion Lab, and Electronic Shop equipment and tools, mobile equipment of every kind, controls, switches, valves, ovens, furnaces, machinery, cranes, prints, and drawings.
- Observe lockout procedures and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform routine maintenance and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
- Operate overhead cranes as required.
- Work in both inside and outside environmental conditions, exposed to elevated noise levels, vibrations, extreme cold and heat, and other hazardous conditions.
- Associates degree or 2 years of experience in an applicable field.
- Valid Colorado license and mobile equipment qualification.
- Strong troubleshooting, repair, and installation skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Physical ability to climb, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, make repetitive motions, hear, and lift up to 75 pounds.
