Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Aquatic Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and appealing swimming environment for guests by enforcing all aquatic regulations and safety protocols. This position reports directly to the Pool Shift Manager and Pool Director.
Part Time | Variable Shifts | Temporary/Seasonal Position | $13.18/hr
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Maintain vigilant observation of guests within the facility, responding promptly to ensure their safety in case of emergencies.
2. Carry out various duties to uphold a clean and secure environment.
3. Assist in the arrangement and relocation of equipment to guarantee readiness for special events.
4. Ensure the facility is well-maintained, visually appealing, and adheres to safety standards.
5. Deliver exceptional customer service to uphold the organization’s reputation for excellence.
6. Complete routine administrative documentation as required.
7. Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
+ Current CPR certification.
+ Valid Shallow Water Lifeguard Certification from an accredited safety organization.
+ Proficiency in life guarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills.
+ Understanding of customer service principles and processes, including needs assessment and quality standards.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Maintain a fitness level that supports strength and endurance.
