Welcome to Willows Lodge, an idyllic escape just 30 minutes from Seattle in the charming setting of Woodinville, Washington. We are part of the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio and offer 84 inviting guest rooms, 7 versatile meeting rooms, and a total of 5,000 sq ft of meeting space.

Overview

Willows Lodge is the gathering place of choice for meetings, corporate retreats, and special occasions all year round. Our luxury Woodinville lodge and high level of service allow us to devote special attention to each occasion.

We are looking for a highly motivated Banquet Server to join our team. This individual will help to set up and prepare banquet rooms for functions, serve and bus tables, and clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.

Your Role
  1. Set up for functions to include draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and placing table centerpieces.
  2. Service to include picking up food from the kitchen, carrying trays to the function location, serving food, and clearing the food from the tables.
  3. Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, and vacuuming.
  4. Set up for AM or PM break stations that include coffee, tea, snacks, beverages, etc.
  5. Complete event room setup according to meal period and table needs.
  6. Perform food and beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and ensuring workstations are stocked.
  7. Serve food and beverages to guests.
  8. Remove dishes, glasses, silverware, or other items from tables/counter tops and take them to the kitchen.
  9. Explain how various menu items are prepared, cooking methods, and ingredients.
  10. Take into consideration any special requests and dietary issues made by the guest.
  11. Provide general property information.
  12. Offer a warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests.
  13. Interact with staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
  14. Ensure final quality check on food and beverage items prior to serving guests.
  15. Monitor assigned tables for customer satisfaction, quality, and additional service.
  16. Address any guest issue promptly and with high concern.
  17. Provide assistance to other event and restaurant staff as needed.
Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • $39/Hour + Tips
  • Eligibility for medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance under our existing group plans
  • Eligibility for a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match following 1 year of service under our existing plan
  • 11 days of PTO accrued in the first year based on an employee working 40 hours each week
Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • Ability to work weekends
  • An engaging and welcoming personality
  • 2-4 years of food service experience
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Current WA State food handler's permit
  • Current WA State MAST permit
