**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a talented Cooperative Systems Engineer to join our team at Leidos, where you will work on pioneering transportation projects that integrate emerging technologies like Cooperative Driving Automation (CDA) and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X).

In this role, you will conduct research, execute traffic simulation projects, and develop simulation networks, managing comprehensive data analysis and implementing cutting-edge algorithms.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct research on transportation engineering projects, including traffic simulation, CDA, Digital Twin, V2X, CAV testing, and ITS.
  • Execute traffic simulation projects, developing and refining simulation networks, managing data analysis, and implementing advanced algorithms.
  • Participate in creating digital twins and HD maps, analyzing CAV and V2X testing data using data mining techniques and algorithms.
  • Create guidance, training, and outreach materials for technical audiences, practitioners, and stakeholders, focusing on diverse aspects of transportation.
  • Develop documentation, reports, manuals, and presentations to communicate project results effectively.
  • Contribute to proposal development, support, and review, authoring white papers, proposals, and briefings that demonstrate technical leadership.

**Salary Information:** The estimated salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
