Job Summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Graduate Nurse Residency Program. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of patients and develop your clinical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and families, identifying their needs and developing care plans that prioritize their well-being.
  • Implement technical skills and demonstrate resourcefulness in providing high-quality patient care.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care and make informed decisions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current on best practices and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
  • Active New York Nursing license (out-of-state nurses are eligible to apply)
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (new hires will have the opportunity to obtain these certifications during the introductory period)
Physical Requirements
  • Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs), including boxes, equipment, IV solutions, and stooping and kneeling.

  • Onsite
Pay Range Disclosure
  • $38.63 per hour
