About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier/Sales Associate at our convenience store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales Floor Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure that all products are properly displayed and priced.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old (18 years old in certain states).
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays, and be available to work a variety of shifts.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
