About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apartment Management Consultants. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our property buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the property is in good working order.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any potential issues.
  • Maintain and inventory all supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure necessary tools are on hand and in good working condition.
  • Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company safety policies.
  • Be available to work on an on-call basis and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
  • Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday.
  • Remove snow and ice as necessary.
  • Handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Property maintenance/handyman experience.
