Role Summary:

We are seeking an Ivanti Desktop Engineer who will be pivotal in sustaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. This role provides an exciting opportunity to engage with state-of-the-art technology within a collaborative and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor junior IT technicians, fostering their professional growth.
  • Provide strategic leadership when collaborating with executive stakeholders.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for staff on Ivanti software to ensure effective utilization.
  • Manage software updates and patches for Windows operating systems.
  • Utilize Ivanti Service Manager to track and oversee incidents, service requests, and changes.
  • Lead the maintenance of Ivanti IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions and oversee Ivanti Endpoint Manager.
  • Analyze Ivanti reports and create or update knowledge base documentation.
  • Perform regular audits of endpoint configurations to ensure compliance.
  • Implement scripting and automation techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain standard desktop images for deployment.
  • Ensure configuration compliance for Windows endpoints.
  • Assist the server team with image creation, software package deployment, and server patching as needed.
  • Act as the final escalation point for end-user support, resolving technical issues related to the Windows environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT support with a focus on Ivanti products and solutions.
  • Ivanti Certified Associate certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentorship and training.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot Windows operating systems and manage software patches.
  • Experience in deploying and managing software packages and updates.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $65,000 and $84,000 annually, reflective of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This range is a good faith estimate and varies based on role, location, education, skills, certifications, and experience.
