Reporting To: Store Manager
Position Summary
The Replenishment Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuous availability of merchandise on the retail sales floor.
- The Specialist is tasked with facilitating a steady influx of new products, relocating clothing, household items, electronics, and furniture from storage areas to their designated spots on the sales floor.
- They are responsible for monitoring the sales environment, returning misplaced items to their correct locations, and picking up any fallen merchandise to maintain a tidy shopping area.
- Additionally, the Specialist assists in the removal of promotional items from the sales floor when necessary.
- Collaboration with Donation Attendants and Sorters is essential for efficiently managing donated goods in production zones.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, or current enrollment in high school is required.
- Prior experience in retail is preferred.
Work Schedule
This is a part-time position, with a maximum of 29 hours per week, primarily focused on weekend shifts.
Physical Requirements
The role involves various physical activities, including:
- Standing: Frequently (34-66%) on tile or cement surfaces while assessing merchandise quality and coordinating with team members.
- Walking: Continuously (67-100%) on tile or cement surfaces while engaging with colleagues and moving inventory.
- Bending and Stooping: Occasionally (1-33%) for tasks such as relocating items and maintaining cleanliness.
- Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally (1-33%) required for moving inventory.
- Pushing/Pulling: Frequently involved in inventory management.
Work Environment
The majority of the work will be conducted indoors (90%), with some outdoor tasks (10%).
