About the Position

Parkland Medical Center is seeking a skilled Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of adult patients.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting all aspects of patient care">
  • Providing safe medication administration for adult patients">
  • Assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs">
  • Instructing and educating patients and families on age- and culturally-appropriate care">
  • Functioning as an effective team member and/or charge RN when needed, orienting and mentoring new staff members">
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of one year of critical care nursing experience, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and excellent problem-solving skills, good judgment, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
