Senior Metal Fabrication Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Metal Fabrication Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for:

• Serving as the point person for new engineering projects
• Delegating project tasks and responsibilities to other team members
• Assisting in generating programs for automated metal fabrication machinery
• Reviewing part requests and engineering drawings, and engineering the part from there
• Selecting machinery and developing manufacturing processes for optimal production
• Driving continuous improvement to existing operations, with a focus on scrap reduction and overall cost savings
• Designing custom tooling and fixtures to support production for the sheet metal fabrication process

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in a metal fabrication environment
• Previous exposure to working closely on projects, including interfacing with customers and estimating project costs
• Ability to take an engineering drawing and convert it into a final product with little to no guidance
• Experience programming machinery, such as press brakes, lasers, turrets, and wire benders
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000, depending on level of experience, as well as a discretionary bonus based on company performance. Our benefits package includes a 401k plan, comprehensive health benefits, and 2+ weeks of PTO.
