Job Summary

This position is designed for individuals completing their 4th year externship in audiology before licensure. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a licensed audiologist, providing diagnostic evaluations and rehabilitation services for auditory and balance problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations of hearing and balance disorders under the supervision of a licensed audiologist.
  • Provide rehabilitation services, including counseling and education, to individuals with auditory and balance disorders.
  • Conduct research related to hearing and balance disorders.
  • Participate in cochlear implant assessments and electrophysiologic evaluations of the vestibular and auditory mechanisms.
  • Fit, program, and dispense hearing aids, and perform electroacoustic measures of the peripheral and central auditory systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Completion of three years in a doctoral-level audiology program or two years in an accelerated doctoral-level audiology program required.
  • Temporary Audiologist License (California) required at hire.
