About the Role:

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Pathologist to join our team at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. As a Surgical Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely diagnoses to patients, while also contributing to the development of new treatments and therapies.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough and accurate microscopic examinations of tissue samples to diagnose diseases and conditions
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide patient care
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in surgical pathology and participate in ongoing education and training
Contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies through research and collaboration with other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

Board certification or eligibility in surgical pathology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
